The attention to detail is exceptional! My kids are in the 18 month class this year and I want them to be given the attention and love they get at home. The teachers and staff at SSH have gone above and beyond. My children run happily into the classroom every time I drop them off. I also value the Spanish language so much and want my kids to always have that since it is part of their culture. The SSH is the best place for that and I really couldn't ask for more!
My daughter started this past year in their summer program and is now attending Pre-K. I cannot say enough good things about this school. Their curriculum and level of care provided at the facility is truly top-notch. I feel safe and comfortable knowing that I am dropping my daughter off at such a loving, enriching and education-driven environment. Ana Villagomez

Ana is originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, and moved to the U.S. in 1999 with her family to join a bilingual education program. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and brings over 10 years of experience in social services and early childhood education. Ana began her career as a preschool teacher and later served as a preschool director before joining Spanish Schoolhouse. As a bilingual learner herself and a mother of two, Ana is deeply passionate about language immersion and values the opportunity to support children's bilingual journeys both at home and in the classroom.
As Director of SSH Woodforest, Ana strives to create a warm, welcoming environment where children and families feel supported. She believes that teaching comes from the heart and finds joy in watching children grow into confident, curious learners. Ana is committed to building a strong, culturally rich early education environment and leads each day with purpose and dedication.

Periquito Azul is the feathered, friendly, and beloved mascot of Spanish Schoolhouse. The beautiful blue hyacinth macaw brings both fun and an extra touch of South America to our school. Periquito Azul helps us celebrate seasons, events, and learning throughout the school year!
