The staff is amazing, teachers really care about the children and on top of that my kids are learning about the Latin culture and the language (they speak Spanish all day long). I can honestly say that my kids are very happy and safe here and that means everything to us, we feel like part of a huge loving family. We're very grateful we found this place.

Patty Wescoat

Patty was born and raised in Perú. She studied marketing and advertising and worked in the telecom and hospitality industries until she moved to the U.S. in 2005. She began her career in early childhood education in Dallas, working as a teacher at Spanish Schoolhouse. Since then, Patty's teaching and administrative experience has grown through her roles as a teacher, curriculum director, and assistant director at various private preschools.
Patty and her team work daily to create meaningful connections that make children feel safe and loved so they learn best. She takes pride in celebrating their milestones and victories and finds joy in listening to them express their thoughts with honesty and humor.
Patty knows firsthand that languages open many doors, not only in employment opportunities but also through interactions and friendships that enrich life. She is excited about sharing the benefits of early language and culture immersion with children while they learn and grow!

Periquito Azul is the feathered, friendly, and beloved mascot of Spanish Schoolhouse. The beautiful blue hyacinth macaw brings both fun and an extra touch of South America to our school. Periquito Azul helps us celebrate seasons, events, and learning throughout the school year!
