Giovannia Acocella
Director, Providence Village

Giovannia is originally from Venezuela. She grew up with an Italian father and a Venezuelan mother and has known the importance of being bilingual and bicultural from an early age. 

Although Giovannia's degree was in marketing and she had a career in the food industry, she has also had a lifelong interest in teaching. After moving to the US in 2007, she joined the Spanish Schoolhouse team and has been our beloved Director of our Coppell location for the last 2 years, summer camp director of our Frisco location for 7 years, and preschool teacher. She then held administrative positions in two ISDs before returning to Spanish Schoolhouse. 

Giovannia has shared the gift of language and culture with her own children and with countless students by creating a loving, caring, and safe environment for them to learn and grow. She considers children the most important members of society and is proud that as a director, she can make a difference in their lives.
