This school is amazing. I am a teacher and I can tell you the learning and the atmosphere of the Southlake Spanish Schoolhouse is like none other. It is warm, inviting, and engaging. Not only do children learn a second language, but they learn about art, music, culture, literacy, numeracy and community. I highly recommend this as both a preschool and kindergarten program.
Excellent curriculum, small class sizes, firm but loving instructors, family-friendly environment, clear and consistent rules, and the owners/directors are onsite daily and very involved in all aspects of the school. My son has never been in a preschool where his friends jump up to hug one another, and express so much love for their classmates!!! Muy especial!!
Isel Paris
Director, Creekside/Tomball Campus
Isel was born and raised in Venezuela. She studied psychology in Caracas and then moved to North America to study English. While living in Canada, then Oklahoma and Texas, she gained work experience in the arts, as an entrepreneur, and as a Spanish instructor. Isel found such joy in teaching that after starting her own family, she began her career at Spanish Schoolhouse.
Through her personal experience and raising her own family, Isel learned that bilingualism is a life-changing skill that opens new opportunities and builds self-esteem. She loves seeing how proud and special her students feel when they master a second language! She also loves their natural curiosity about everything they learn.
Isel's goal as Director is to make learning engaging, fun, and memorable. She enjoys being involved in the community at Spanish Schoolhouse, leading her team, and working in partnership with parents to make the most impact in children's lives!

Periquito Azul is the feathered, friendly, and beloved mascot of Spanish Schoolhouse. The beautiful blue hyacinth macaw brings both fun and an extra touch of South America to our school. Periquito Azul helps us celebrate seasons, events, and learning throughout the school year!
