My daughter has loved learning to speak Spanish through singing and dancing. Every week is themed differently and she always looks forward to learning something new, yet she fees comfortable and confident because her routine and schedule stay the same. She especially enjoyed Science Week because of all the fun science projects they did in class, and we love that this has sparked her interest in the world of science!

Adriana is originally from Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. She holds a bachelor's degree in educational psychology and has a wealth of experience in education. Adriana has taught at the preschool, elementary, and college levels, and has worked with children with special needs.
At SSH Cypress, Adriana's goal is to create a nurturing, inclusive, and dynamic environment where students feel valued, supported, and inspired to ask questions and explore new ideas. She loves to support and encourage students as they achieve their goals.
Adriana also strives to build a culture of collaboration where students, teachers, and parents all feel like part of the school community. She knows that open lines of communication are key to fostering strong relationships and support systems that lead to student success.

Periquito Azul is the feathered, friendly, and beloved mascot of Spanish Schoolhouse. The beautiful blue hyacinth macaw brings both fun and an extra touch of South America to our school. Periquito Azul helps us celebrate seasons, events, and learning throughout the school year!
