¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to Spanish Schoolhouse in McKinney, TX! We are proud to be the only Spanish immersion preschool in McKinney. Since we opened in 2009, we have successfully prepared students for both traditional English elementary schools and McKinney ISD's dual language program. Come visit our school for a tour! We are located on Virginia Parkway, west of US 75. Our director, María del Rocío Díaz, would love to show you what our programs can offer your child!

"Aside from learning to speak Spanish, my son has learned how to live in a multicultural world and appreciate other cultures for their uniqueness. SSH has made learning fun for him! He loves to talk about his learning experience at school, from the experiments the teachers do at the beginning of class to the art and puzzles he enjoys during the day. Coming out of pre-K and knowing sight words both in English and Spanish gives him quite the leg up heading into Kindergarten."

Periquito Azul is the feathered, friendly, and beloved mascot of Spanish Schoolhouse. The beautiful blue hyacinth macaw brings both fun and an extra touch of South America to our school. Periquito Azul helps us celebrate seasons, events, and learning throughout the school year!
