¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to Spanish Schoolhouse in McKinney, TX! We are proud to be the only Spanish immersion preschool in McKinney. Since we opened in 2009, we have successfully prepared students for both traditional English elementary schools and McKinney ISD's dual language program. Come visit our school for a tour! We are located on Virginia Parkway, west of US 75. Our director, María del Rocío Díaz, would love to show you what our programs can offer your child!
Rocio creates a warm learning environment where children feel encouraged to explore and discover!

"We absolutely LOVE Spanish Schoolhouse. Both the Preschool and Kindergarten programs are excellent. The teachers are patient, caring and so good with the children. The classes are small. This means that each child gets one on one assistance with reading and writing every day. There is plenty of time for play after lessons, and extracurricular programs are available too. My children can read, write and speak in Spanish. I am so impressed with this school."
"Absolutely love SSH Keller! My daughter is 2 and is thriving, coming home so happy and very talkative. The staff is incredible and the summer program has been a fantastic experience."
Periquito Azul is the feathered, friendly, and beloved mascot of Spanish Schoolhouse. The beautiful blue hyacinth macaw brings both fun and an extra touch of South America to our school. Periquito Azul helps us celebrate seasons, events, and learning throughout the school year!
