¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to Spanish Schoolhouse in McKinney, TX! We are proud to be the only Spanish immersion preschool in McKinney. Since we opened in 2009, we have successfully prepared students for both traditional English elementary schools and McKinney ISD's dual language program. Come visit our school for a tour! We are located on Virginia Parkway, west of US 75. Our director, María del Rocío Díaz, would love to show you what our programs can offer your child!
Rocio creates a warm learning environment where children feel encouraged to explore and discover!

"This school is amazing. I am a teacher and I can tell you the learning and the atmosphere of the Southlake Spanish Schoolhouse is like none other. It is warm, inviting, and engaging. Not only do children learn a second language, but they learn about art, music, culture, literacy, numeracy and community. I highly recommend this as both a preschool and kindergarten program."
"The best things about Spanish Schoolhouse are the staff, professionalism, and care for the kids. They create an atmosphere of love, which empowers my child to try new things, open up, and learn."
Periquito Azul is the feathered, friendly, and beloved mascot of Spanish Schoolhouse. The beautiful blue hyacinth macaw brings both fun and an extra touch of South America to our school. Periquito Azul helps us celebrate seasons, events, and learning throughout the school year!
