Beatriz Villalobos
Director, Southlake Campus
Originally from Mexico City, Beatriz experienced the benefits of dual-language education early on, attending a bilingual school throughout her childhood. She earned multiple diplomas, became a Certified Public Accountant, and built a successful career in accounting and tax consulting before relocating to Texas with her family in 2012.
Her journey in education began shortly after, when she became an active volunteer, or "Dragon Mom," in Southlake Carroll ISD. In 2013, she joined the Spanish Schoolhouse team, where she discovered her calling in working with children. Over the years, she has served in various roles, including kindergarten teacher, office administrator, and assistant director. In each role, Beatriz has brought strong leadership, a love for teaching (especially math!), and a deep commitment to excellence in curriculum and operations. Her warmth, professionalism, and dedication have made her a trusted presence among staff and families alike.
As Director, Beatriz is devoted to nurturing a strong sense of culture and community within the school. She believes in partnering closely with families to help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Guided by the "Love and Logic" philosophy, she encourages confidence, responsibility, and joyful learning. Beatriz firmly believes that the seeds of language, culture, and education planted in early childhood open doors for a lifetime of opportunity.
