Beatriz Villalobos
Director, Southlake Campus

Growing up in Mexico City, Beatriz experienced dual-language education firsthand, attending a bilingual school from a young age.  She earned several diplomas, became a CPA, and enjoyed a career in accounting and tax consulting before moving to Texas with her family in 2012.

Beatriz became a "Dragon Mom" volunteer in the Southlake Carroll ISD and soon embraced a new career in education when she joined the Spanish Schoolhouse team.  She loves teaching (especially math!) and enjoyed her positions as a kindergarten teacher and an office administrator. This experience, both inside and outside the classroom, gave her valuable insight and preparation for the role of director.

Beatriz is committed to fostering and maintaining a strong sense of culture and community among Spanish Schoolhouse staff and families.  Children are our future, and Beatriz loves partnering with parents to prepare students for future success, academically, socially, and emotionally. She values the "Love and Logic" philosophy as a method to foster confidence and growth.  She strongly believes that the seeds of education, language, and culture we plant now will lead to opportunities that benefit children throughout their lives.
