They treat our students like family. The staff at McKinney SSH is absolutely amazing, warm, inviting, with boundaries that teach our kids how to behave in school and how to achieve high expectations. I have had 4 of my kids graduate from this class - the final one starting kinder this year. They have all excelled in school - are taking advanced, GT, and AP classes - are completely bilingual. I am so impressed with this school and will always highly recommend. I miss SSH!
We value the Hispanic culture and language that SSH offers to our son. The school is very clean, very welcoming, and has the most loving and caring staff. Learning is hands-on on and intentional.
I love the cultural education and learning about Spanish speaking countries. It has opened my kids' minds to understanding a wider world with different people, different holidays, and different habits, which is great!
My son is so happy, and it emanates the second you walk in. I enjoy the different countries' cultures. He's also really enjoyed the crafts, always so creative! Lastly, he really has gained a good understanding of the language, which was most important!

Periquito Azul is the feathered, friendly, and beloved mascot of Spanish Schoolhouse. The beautiful blue hyacinth macaw brings both fun and an extra touch of South America to our school. Periquito Azul helps us celebrate seasons, events, and learning throughout the school year!
