The teachers are just so amazing. My son always comes home happy and is always singing about the days or months. He learns so much and loves to go to school every day. His Spanish speaking and pronunciation has improved so much. So glad we have him at SSH and excited for our daughter to start in the fall!
We love the Spanish Schoolhouse and appreciate everything they do! So thankful to give the kids an opportunity to learn Spanish from the start. There are so many cool things for the kids throughout the year from the train to the petting zoo, the visiting dentist, firemen, police officers. We know how much work and planning that requires. We are truly grateful!
The staff is extremely caring and make sure both children and families have a great experience. The quality of the curriculum is great and I've noticed the same "Handwriting Without Tears" program will be taught at my son's elementary school, so we are already ahead. But what I'm most happy about is after 1 short year at SSH, my 3 and 5 year old children are bilingual. They just had a 15 minute conversation between the two of them completely in Spanish without my prompting at home.
I wish we could keep the kids at SSH through High School. They have grown academically by leaps and bounds. We are so grateful for the friendships they've made, the curriculum, and especially for the teachers, who are incredibly nurturing.
Every member of the staff are super attentive to all the students, not just yours. The principal and her Assistant Principal are wonderful at keeping you informed and being there to listen to your needs for your child.
Periquito Azul is the feathered, friendly, and beloved mascot of Spanish Schoolhouse. The beautiful blue hyacinth macaw brings both fun and an extra touch of South America to our school. Periquito Azul helps us celebrate seasons, events, and learning throughout the school year!
