All the warmth, love, patience, and positive discipline at SSH Coppell create the perfect learning environment for little children. The daily art, science, and games allow my children to think creatively - it is beautiful to see their minds think so imaginatively. I only wish there could be more grades!
Southlake Spanish Schoolhouse has been, in a nutshell, amazing. I've watched the kids grow and learn with some of the most attentive teachers anywhere. The teachers are truly boundless in their energy and enthusiasm to serve. And to top it all off, the kids all understand and speak Spanish now...what a plus! I've only seen love and attention towards all the kids and my feeling is they genuinely care about the children entrusted to them. Mary Tirado
Director, Creekside/Tomball Campus
Mary is originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela. She earned a degree in Business Administration and worked in her family's business as a Human Resources manager for 10 years. She also pursued her passion for dance as a flamenco dance instructor, teaching young children to appreciate the music and movement of this vibrant dance form.
When Mary relocated to Texas in 2015, she quickly found her home at Spanish Schoolhouse. She gained valuable experience teaching in the two, three, and four-year-old classrooms, as well as serving as the summer camp administrator, before assuming the director role. Mary loves being a part of the daily growth and development of her students. She enjoys collaborating with parents to help each child succeed and reach their potential.
Mary is excited to lead Spanish Schoolhouse Creekside's team of dedicated and caring teachers. She loves sharing the advantages of bilingualism and biculturalism with each of her students!

Periquito Azul is the feathered, friendly, and beloved mascot of Spanish Schoolhouse. The beautiful blue hyacinth macaw brings both fun and an extra touch of South America to our school. Periquito Azul helps us celebrate seasons, events, and learning throughout the school year!
